When I was a purple belt, I didn’t have to drag Chance to come experience this new Jiu Jitsu phenomenon. We put away our hammers, rolled up a job site, and I brought him to his first class. From then on, Chance was hooked. Over the decades, Chance and I have ventured to the top of high mountains and slogged through some deep valleys in our adventures, our travels, always spreading Jiu Jitsu and exploring the world. If I were to describe Chance in two words… Fiercely independent.

Chance currently instructs regularly in Singapore and he proudly remains Unaffiliated.
