Met Chris through Matt Thornton in 1997, at one of the original Straight Blast Gym's locations in Keizer, Oregon; receiving my Blue Belt from him in 1998, and Black in 2010. Still training a couple times a week at Nemesis Jiu-jItsu in Portland, Oregon 23 years later.
