I am proud to have received every belt on my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey from Chris. From Blue to Black. I’ve been running a full time MMA gym (Centerline Jiu Jitsu and MMA in Long Beach, CA) since 2001. I started with JKD and training with Bas Rutten in the mid 90’s and got into BJJ in earnest in 2000.

I also run a company called Red Zone Threat Management which covers the self defense elements (of which BJJ concepts play a heavy role.) There are various video and book projects on these topics on our website.
