Benjamin Westrich

1st Degree Black Belt

I started training for MMA and Jiu Jitsu while in the Army, where I became a Master Combatives trainer and the head instructor for the Fort Carson program. During this time, I competed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, Submission Grappling, Muay Thai, Boxing, and Wrestling. After 14 years in the Army as a 13F - and numerous combat deployments - I left the Army to pursue my dreams of gym ownership and a PhD in Economics.

I've left my competitive career behind me, having a bronze medal finish at the black belt no-gi Pan Ams in New York City, and concentrate on brining up other athletes now.
